Financial Disclaimer
CFO Warren is software powered by large language models. It reads your business’s financial data and answers questions about it in plain language. It is not a registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, certified public accountant, enrolled agent, tax preparer, attorney, or fiduciary. Nothing Warren says is professional advice. Read this page before acting on anything Warren tells you.
1. Informational only
Everything Warren produces — cash positions, forecasts, anomaly flags, suggestions, draft emails, “recommended actions”, summaries — is for general informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for the judgment of a qualified professional with full knowledge of your situation.
2. Investment
Warren does not provide investment advice. It does not recommend, endorse, or solicit the purchase or sale of any security, fund, or other investment product. References to investments, return rates, or market conditions are illustrative only and should not be relied upon to make investment decisions. If you need investment advice, consult a registered investment advisor.
3. Tax
Warren does not provide tax advice. Estimates of tax liability, suggestions about reserves or timing, and observations about deductions or categorization are illustrative only. Verify with your CPA or enrolled agent before filing or making tax-relevant decisions. We will always remind you of this when a question touches taxes.
4. Legal
Warren does not provide legal advice. Suggestions about contracts, employment, regulatory compliance, entity structure, or disputes are illustrative only. Consult a licensed attorney for legal questions specific to your business.
5. Accuracy and limits
- Warren can be wrong. Large language models occasionally produce inaccurate or out-of-date information, including incorrect numerical reasoning. We work to reduce this but cannot eliminate it.
- Warren’s answers are only as good as the data it sees. If your books are behind, if a connection has dropped, or if a transaction is mis-categorized at the source, Warren’s answer will reflect that.
- Forecasts are projections, not promises. Cash-flow forecasts, runway estimates, hire-affordability analyses, and scenario models are scenarios — not guarantees of outcome.
- Anomaly flags can be wrong. A flagged transaction is a worth-checking signal, not a confirmed problem. Always verify before treating it as one.
6. No fiduciary relationship
Your use of CFO Warren does not create a fiduciary or advisory relationship between you and us or between you and any of our employees. We owe you the duties set out in our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and nothing more.
7. Action triggers
Warren can draft messages, propose payments, or suggest scheduling. Warren does notsend mail, move money, or take any action with external consequences on your behalf without your explicit confirmation. If an action looks risky or material, double-check the proposal before approving.
8. Reliance is at your own risk
You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on Warren’s output. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from your reliance on Warren’s output. See the limitation of liability in our Terms of Service.
